It was a star-studded evening in Beverly Hills for the 14th Annual Costume
Designers Guild Awards. Clint Eastwood, Kate Beckinsale, Rooney Mara and host Jane Lynch are just a few of the celebs who turned out at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Feb 21 to celebrate the work of costume designers.
Competitive awards for costume design excellence in seven categories of film, television and commercials were presented by the Guild and presenting sponsor Lacoste along with four honorary awards. Lou Eyrich received the Career Achievement in Television Award and Marlene Stewart was honored with the Disaronno Career Achievement in Film Award. Beckinsale was awarded the Lacoste Spotlight Award and the Distinguished Collaborator Award was presented to costume designer Deborah Hopper and Eastwood, who have collaborated over the last 20 years on more than 22 films.
In addition, Western Costume was presented with a special Service Award in honor of its centennial anniversary.
